Catherine's christening

today was catherine's christening. erica was her godmother and heather's brother kyle was her godfather.
the ceremony was beautiful, very small. it was only the immediate family and chris' godmother. father o'brien is very nice and kind, he is new to our church.
after the ceremony we went back to chris' house for a meal and cake.
both colin and catherine were so good, patient and in happy moods.

love this song!!!! i first heard it on ugly betty. then i heard it again today on dc cheerleaders.

today erica and i are watching colin and baby sissy. i thought it would be a good opportunity to take a few photos with catie and chris' pooh. i took these same photos of colin and pooh.

today colin was in a sad mood. i think it's all this talk about bailey.

we had a nice day at preschool. i took the kids outside to play, then we played trains inside for a little while. after that i took them to the post office and we came back and erica did project with them. a full morning for sure.

it's naptime right now and of course the village decides that this is the time to dig up our sidewalk. they have had it marked up for a few days now but 1:45pm is the time to pull out the back hoe and go at it!!! geeessshhh!!

i made it....im one of the new We B Scrappin' design team members!! i am so excited, this is my first design team.

today we had colin and catie for the morning. we dressed catie in the Loeffler hair pin lace christening gown and took some photos. we could'nt get her to smile but her pose was so pretty. we'll try again and maybe she'll smile.

these are the booties i found on 2 peas. they are the pattern we used yesteday to make the ones for catie's christening. i'll take photos of the ones we made on sunday.

today we had the preschoolers. they are a joy after the tough summer we had with the older girls. although, its way after 2pm and colin is still singing, talking, getting up and walking around asking me questions. christina has been asleep for over an hour. :o)

this morning erica had a long, long talk with david about taking bailey while chris is in afganiatan. i really hope that uncle michael and david do take bailey. it would be good for everyone involved...

today erica, mom and i went over to colin's house to help heather make the little bootie favors for caties christening. we made 26 booties. they came out so cute and they were really easy to make.

tonight ive been trying to learn how to turn my crochet work. i think i have it. i watched a couple of videos on youtube and i found a tutorial that was really helpful.

im making a little pouch for colin's yankee's baseball cards.

tomorrow the kids are coming to preschool. our sink still does not work but im hoping that chris will come over tomorrow nite and fix it.
