colin's home!! we will see him tomorrow and hear all about disney. he had a wonderful time, im so happy that he enjoyed himself!

ive been working on these ornaments that a friend of mine posted on her blog. i copied the pattern and have made two already. they are so fun to make and decorate!!

i'm mailing my daisy d's design team entry today...yippee!! ive been working on it for a couple of weeks now. im really happy with the way it turned out. hopefully they will be too!

our thanksgiving was lovely, quite and low-key. it was nice to be home at mom and dads house.
dad cooked the turkey, squash and potatoes. it was good!! i made pumpkin praline bars and zucchini bars. heather made cornbread stuffing and green bean casserol. for desert mom made turkey cupcakes with colin, they were so cute!

spent all day scrapping....fun!

Happy Thanksgiving!
We are heading over to mom and dads in a little while. I made some zuchinni bars and some pumpkin dessert. Yum!

here are a couple of shots from yesterday. colin wanted to get into his old crib and basically roll around as if it were a cave. he wanted me to drape a blanket over the top and let him be all warm and snuggly. too funny

wow, have i been neglectful...
we had a slumber party weekend and i think i touched my computer maybe once for about 5 minutes. we took alot of amazing photos of colin though.
believe it or not im waiting for him to come to aunties right now. we switched christinas days so she could be at preschool two days with colin this week, because of thanksgiving!

every year i get my photo taken with colin on my birthday. it started off the first year of his life. mom and dad took me to paneara bread for my birthday lunch. and dad took my photo with my sweet colin.

pp's= 4 1/2 pieces of heidi grace designs jolly and bright. mistletoe, decor stripe and mistletoe balls
1 styrafoam cone
straight pins
ribbon
ranger stickles cotton candy
holly die cuts
a wooden dowell
2 pieces of chipboard (cut into a star shape, i also die cut 2 pieces of the pink pp to cover the chipboard)

i can't believe it's friday already. wow this week flew by. as a little birthday treat, mom and dad took me to webbers for lunch! yum! then i went to we b scrappin' and got some stuff for a new project. and some more pp's and stamps for me!! i just did this lo of halloween!!


now im going up to sleep, ive been up since 6am and i taught today so im tired!!

today i spent the whole morning with colin. it was great. first we went to barber jim's and got his hair cut. barber jim was out so a nice lady kathy did it. next we went to st. johns b/c papa was there working the poles. after that we stopped at the bank quickly and then went to the liverpool library. where i voted, well actually colin voted. i held him up and he pulled down the levers. i let him choose any ones he wanted. too fun. then we went to the books for sale and colin picked 2 books.
it was a great morning!

i did finish the little crocheted candy corn bags. they were so quick and easy to make. also, i found these cute little pumpkin bears at kinney drugs, one for colin and one for christina.
i made my handles a little different than the pattern and i used yellow instead of brown yarn.

this weekend was so much fun. colin and i spent saturday together. we went to the vet and picked up lucey's medicine. then we went to wegmans and bought some food for lunch and dinner. colin road in the cart and helped me with the list. he was so good, i got him a cookie, he wrapped it up and was trying to save it for later, but then he broke down and ate it. he is such a darling.

when we got home he played for a while and i made lunch. after lunch colin went and watched a movie with his auntie erica.

i made hamburgers, broccolli and pears for dinner. and colin helped me make sugar cookies. and then auntie erica gave him a bath, we watched johnny appleseed, i read him 4 books and he was out like a light by 8:45.

this am, i took colin to church, we made it just in time for the gospel. them we went to breakfast with nonni and papa. it was so nice. colin was such a little gentleman!!

after breakfast we came home and played. after lunch colin took a long nap, woke up and we played some more.

he was sad when his mom came and cried b/c he didnt want to go home. it broke my heart, i know that transitioning has been so hard for him since chris has been gone. we just have to support him and be consistent.

i love my little sweet baboo so much!!!

i've been working on my christmas cards. it took me a while to get into the groove, i never do cards. i havent done a card since the mid 1990s, maybe 1994.

so, i looked at alot of cards on 2peas for some inspiration, i think i did pretty good. im not to happy with my first 3 cards the the next 3 were ok!

i didnt get called today to teach, im surprised. they were scrambling yesterday for subs so i thought id get called today for sure. but i did get called for monday. art at reynolds!!

and friday (my b-day), i'll be at elden in a 2nd. :)

i was at macnamara yesterday. i had a great day. it was my first time ever teaching at this school. i was the resource teacher in the am and a kindergarten teacher in the pm. the pm class was so cute. there were triplets, so sweet. the kids in this school were polite and very friendly. such a nice school.
