i just picked mom and dad up from the airport. they are home safe and sound. i had a really nice time this weekend with bailey and prancie!!

yesterday was the crop at we b. it was so much fun. the ladies there are so amazing!! i got to see pam's new baby, she was so tiny!!
i did three layouts and bought a bunch of stuff. kathy gave me a $25 gift card. it was so awesome!!
today, after i get home i'm going to work on a coaster birthday book with some new pp's that kathy gave me to work on yesterday.

i've been feeling pretty run down for the last few days. after i got up this am, fed the dogs and went home, i fell asleep for 3 hours. i layed down at 1pm and woke up around 4:20. i couldnt believe it, the whole day was gone!!

tomorrow im going to we b for a dt crop. ive been looking forward to it since december. i baked a whole tin of choco-chip cookies. mom didnt have any b-sugar, so i left it out. the cookies are good but they would have been better with the b-sugar. owell!

im staying at mom and dads for the weekend. they are visiting with chris & co. down in virginia until monday. today i drove them to the airport. then rebecca brought baby panos over for a visit. he has the sweetest big blue eyes. he's such a sweet baby. rebecca is such a nice person, we had a great visit. i'll post some photos tomorrow.

i got a lot of running around this morning. i went to the bank, mom's house, the post office and nichols.
i still have to go to target and payless. i'll save that for friday.
we enrolled a new child for the preschool. her mom dropped off some paperwork this afternoon. christina's parents are going to be thrilled!

ive been doing a little bit of knitting and crocheting lately. i made this little cat toy for mrs. columbus' cat, butterscotch. i hope she likes it.

i crocheted this little pink blanket bear for pam's new baby. pam is one of the owners of we b scrappin' and she had her baby on valentine's day. we are having a crop at the store on saturday, im going to give it to her then.

we scrapped yesterday at the church, it was fun. i got quite a bit finished. i worked on an abc book for colin.

laurie worked on bookmarks and erica worked on her quilts. mom had a fun time organizing and planning her next project! fun day!!

we got to talk to colin on the skype today. he opened his package. he was so excited and loved everything in it!! right away he wanted to play with auntie erica and the robin hood puppets. i miss him alot!!

i didnt win the big contest at we b. that's ok, i really loved all the layouts that were submitted. the gal who won deserved it b/c her lo was wonderful. well actually all five of the lo's were amazing (not to toot my own horn) and really it could have been any of us.

i taught my very first class at we b last night. it went really well, i felt a little nervous at first but once it got rollin' we had alot of fun. there were two ladies and we altered heart boxes and made two cards. they were alot of fun!

it was blizzarding on the way home...yuck!

im so anxious for colin to come home. this is the longest we've gone with out seeing him. i miss him so much. one more month to go...30 days!

im going to finish the one layout ive been working on and then go upstairs, snuggle in my covers and watch a movie. :)

got a few pages done today and my column for march 23rd.
we were suppose to go out today but it was cold and yucky out. i'll be so happy when spring comes.
dad came by after work and gave me a credit card for gas for my car...he is the best dad in the whole world!!
checking the bville website daily now. cant wait for them to post the jobs for 2008/2009!
tomorrow we are going to the quilt club! im going to work on mittens for colin and a blanket teddy for pam (at we b).

didn't get called to teach today. thats ok, i needed a little break. i put my whole check book into quicken. it took me a couple of hours. not bad. time left over for a little scrappin. did 3 pages today. thats pretty good. here's one...

i taught at elden today. it was a great day, i really enjoy teaching at that school.
we got to talk to colin for a while tonite. that was so nice. he'll be home in five weeks.

ive created a few new lo's. im not posting them on the we b gallery b/c i want to save them in case i need them. if i do not win spot on the dt (feb. 14th) then i'll need some new unseen lo's to apply for the dt. up to this point i've been posting every single lo ive done. so instead i'll post them here. i love this one i did of colin as a little baby. i used the brand new mm noteworthy pp's. gorgeous!!

i created some hanging valentines for colin and catie today. im going to put them in the care package this week. they should get them before valentines day.

colin got his care package today, i think he liked his treats, i'll talk to him more tomorrow. i only got to talk to him for a few minutes tonite. chris had left the skype on tonite and so i heard them when they got home from dinner. i heard little baboo's voice and i couldnt tell where it was coming from. then i went into ericas office and heard him talking, i knew that they had left the skype on...it was funny.

omg, i had one doozie of a day...a 5th grade. it's funny when i got the call two days ago to teach this class, i got a funny feeling in my stomach, kind of a warning. i thought oh im just being silly. well i am here to say, always follow your gut.
this class was unbelieveable, sassy, loud, uncooperative, busy bodies and by 3pm i had just about had enough.
individually these kids were great, fun to talk to and smart. but put them in a bunch and watch out!! one kid was slamming things, i know he would have never done that if his regular teacher was there. another kid was talking back to me as i was talking, being so rude and sassy that i couldnt believe it. i had to end the reading group early, b/c they were being so unbelievably rotten.
well, now i know, and i'll never take a job in that classroom again!!

today i took lucey to the vet. she has not used the litter box (except for tinkle) in over a week. i had to leave her all day, they gave her an enema and a bath. this did not make her happy, but now she should feel much better. im changing her food to canned and giving her supplements. hopefully this will help with dehydration and constipation.

teaching tomorrow at elden and thursday at palmer.

i was the resouce teacher today at elden. it was a great day, a little tireing b/c i stood hunched over kids for the last 2 hours of the day. but overall great and it was a full day.

taking lucey to the vet tomorrow. she is having trouble going to the bathroom and its affecting her eating habits. :(

i had a really fun day yesterday and a really sad day all in one. i spent the day with mom, we took down the christmas tree and labeled all the branches. that will make it much easier for next year! we also made a poster for her "troops" book drive at the church.
the bad news is, i took my car to be inspected and the brakes were broken....$1,450.00
